Terms of Use

Last updated: 15 April 2026

1. About the service

LiveCast Studio is a digital service for preparing, planning and delivering sports broadcasts, including AI-supported functions for content preparation.

By creating an account or using the service, you accept these terms.

2. User account

To use LiveCast Studio you must create a user account. You are responsible for ensuring that the information you register is accurate and up to date, for keeping your login credentials confidential, and for activity that occurs through your account.

You must notify us without undue delay if you suspect unauthorised use of your account.

We may suspend or close an account if we have legitimate reason to believe that the account is being used in breach of these terms, applicable law, or the security of the service.

3. Acceptable use

You agree to use the service lawfully and in a way that does not harm us, other users, or third parties.

In particular, you shall not:

  • upload or use content you do not have the right to use
  • upload content that infringes others' rights, privacy, or applicable law
  • attempt to access other users' accounts or data
  • bypass security mechanisms or test vulnerabilities without permission
  • use the service for illegal, misleading, hateful, or offensive content
  • overload, misuse, or automate use of the service in a way that may harm operation or availability

4. Content and intellectual property

You retain the rights to content you upload, create, or generate through the use of the service.

You are responsible for ensuring that you have the necessary rights and permissions to use the content you upload or share through the service.

LiveCast Studio and all material belonging to the service, including software, design, logos, trademarks, and other rights in the service itself, belong to us or our licensors.

To enable us to deliver the service, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive right to store, process, and make your content available to the extent necessary to provide, secure, and maintain the service.

5. AI-generated content

The service may use artificial intelligence to generate suggestions, summaries, and other supporting content.

AI-generated content is only an aid and may contain errors, gaps, or inaccuracies. You are responsible for checking and evaluating the content before use, including before use in broadcasts or publication.

You bear full editorial and factual responsibility for content you choose to use.

6. Availability and changes to the service

We strive for stable and secure operation, but we cannot guarantee that the service is always available, error-free, or without interruptions.

Downtime may occur as a result of maintenance, updates, errors, or circumstances outside our control.

We may change, further develop, or update the service when there is legitimate reason to do so, for example for security, functionality, technical requirements, or statutory reasons. In the event of material changes, we will give reasonable notice.

We recommend that you keep your own copy of important work content.

7. Liability

We are responsible for delivering the service in accordance with applicable mandatory law.

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect losses, consequential damages, lost profits, loss of data, or losses resulting from the user's own use of AI-generated content without necessary verification.

Our total liability under these terms is, to the extent permitted by law, limited to the amount you have actually paid for the service during the 12 months preceding the claim.

The limitations of liability do not apply in cases of intent, gross negligence, or where liability cannot lawfully be limited.

8. Changes to the terms

We may update these terms as needed.

In the event of material changes, we will give you reasonable advance notice, for example by email or through the service. If the change is to your disadvantage, we will normally give at least 14 days' notice before the change takes effect.

If you do not accept the updated terms, you may stop using the service before the changes take effect. Continued use after the changes take effect is considered acceptance of the updated terms.

9. Licence period and termination

The licence applies for the period specified at the time of ordering or agreement.

When the licence period expires, access to the service automatically ceases for the licence concerned, unless the licence has been renewed by a new agreement or payment.

For purchases of multiple licences, the customer is responsible for the distribution and administration of the licences within the agreed period.

10. Termination and closure

You can stop using the service at any time and request that your account be closed.

Termination of the account does not change an already agreed licence period, unless otherwise agreed.

We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially breach these terms or use the service in a way that causes risk to us, other users, or third parties.

Personal data is processed in accordance with our privacy policy.

11. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by Norwegian law.

Disputes shall be sought resolved amicably. If a dispute is not resolved amicably, the case may be brought before the ordinary Norwegian courts. If the user is a consumer, the venue rules that follow from mandatory law apply.
